Our biological fathers are great but if they behave in ways that declare their fallen humanity - no worries there is a Heavenly Father who is above it all. The Old Testament has references to God as "Abba" which is 'father' in Hebrew. Our God is Father and We are His children.
Twenty years ago, I was a member of a church that offered a path to leadership that included reading The Spiritual Man by Watchman Nee. Because of my background, I had never heard of Watchman Nee and I am discovering that a lot of today’s nondenominational Christians have not heard of him either. His books are wonderful. Thorough. Complete. Uncompromising and Enlightening. With an introduction like that…here is a link to a website that lists the books he has written and gives a brief biography of this remarkable man.
